(1) Experiment using a drop down list ....
(2) Experiment using onFocus and onBlur with some Radio Buttons
Note: Now works with InterNet Explorer 4 as well. I originally posted this yesterday (Friday) when it only worked under Netscape Navigator; it seems that InterNet Explorer is more concerned about some of the finer points ;=( Worked out the issue by tracking through the Forms[] array, now works on both browsers; I don't have any others so I can not test further.
Radio one | Radio two |
I have initially selected the Blurred element of each radio box. You can not change this by selecting the Focused element as this will fire an onClick alert with a return false.(3)onSubmit and onReset Take a moment to fill in this form .... Return to Assignment 4 main page.
To change the value of the radio button(s) click in the box below each radio set(!).
Clicking in will cause the onFocus event to fire.
Clicking outside of the box will cause the onBlur event to fire for the text box currently "focused".
Note: It is not possible to have two elements in "focus" at the same time, trying alternate clicking in each box.
